About The Brand
Currency Cloud, owned by Visa, is a global leader in foreign exchange. They enable businesses to transfer payments internationally with ease and at low cost.
The Request
The sales team at Currency Cloud looked to improve relationships with their partners through running campaigns to introduce new features and explain opportunities around new partnerships and the FX market developments. However, they did not have experience of marketing or how you develop content that is appealing to the end user.
The Brief
To support campaign ideation to develop ideas that would have strong resonance with Currency Clouds community, giving them compelling reasons to engage with the content and improve overall engagement across content and media.

Process
Workshop with Currency Cloud looking at audience first issues and solutions to build into new CRM campaign. We then developed a campaign ecosystem, looking at all the touch points and how users would engage with them, offering a digital journey through iterative emails over a six week period. Alongside this we developed copy and images for the team to use as well as the PPC ad copy to run alongside the campaign so if users searched around our topics that would be directed back to our ecosystem.
Impact
We trained Currency Clouds in-house sales team on how to build better campaigns that had higher engagement and wider value for the community. Demonstrating how a well structured, story driven campaigns can add much greater value. We saw engagement raise by 80% and drive 1500 new users back to the site. Moreover, we trained the Currency Cloud Team on how they can uses these techniques in the future.
