About the brand 

Lace is a new crypto wallet entering an increasingly crowded and competitive market. To stand out, the brand needed a refreshed visual identity that could complement upcoming marketing campaigns while also building long-term recognition with both industry stakeholders and its growing community of users. The challenge was not only to modernise the existing logo, but to create a cohesive visual system that could evolve with the brand and resonate with audiences in a fast-moving digital landscape.

The Request

The immediate priority was to evolve the existing logo into a consistent look and feel that would integrate seamlessly with new video content, work effectively across multiple channels, and resonate with the wallet’s audience. The solution had to be bold enough to differentiate Lace from competitors while retaining the credibility and trust essential for a financial product.

The Brief

Giant Leap Digital was tasked with creating four creative logo concepts that could be tested with the Lace community, ensuring that the final identity was shaped not only by design expertise but also by user input. Beyond the logo, the aim was to establish a refined visual identity—one that would align with the brand’s values, support marketing campaigns, and strengthen its presence across digital and offline touchpoints.

The Process

Our lead designer began by carefully evolving the brand’s visual identity while respecting existing guidelines, striking a balance between continuity and innovation. The update introduced a new set of iconography designed to reflect the brand’s ethos of clarity and security, alongside a refined colour palette that delivered a more modern and confident aesthetic. Typography was modernised to enhance legibility and create a distinctive visual tone.

To ensure authenticity and community buy-in, four logo executions were shared and tested across Lace’s social media channels. Engagement and feedback were analysed to identify the strongest concept, with the chosen option refined into a final identity system. This collaborative process not only secured audience resonance but also positioned the new logo as a symbol of shared ownership within the Lace community.

Impact

The project successfully delivered a refreshed logo and a comprehensive visual identity, which has since been rolled out across both digital and offline brand touchpoints. The updated look has strengthened brand recognition, improved consistency across campaigns, and provided a visual platform that supports Lace’s broader launch strategy. By balancing creativity with community insight, Giant Leap ensured that Lace’s identity feels both modern and authentic—setting the stage for long-term brand growth in the competitive crypto wallet space.
