About the brandÂ
Almanac Hotels is redefining luxury hospitality with properties in some of Europe’s most iconic city centres, including Vienna, Prague, and Barcelona. Each hotel combines contemporary design with a sense of place, offering guests a sophisticated, immersive experience.
As a primary revenue driver, Almanac’s website needed to serve direct bookings, OTAs, travel agents, and tour operators. However, the existing site failed to reflect the brand’s premium positioning, offering poor navigation, a weak booking flow, and low SEO performance.
The Request
Almanac required a new website that could set a benchmark for market-leading digital performance. The platform needed to deliver exceptional user experience (UX), advanced security protocols, strong accessibility compliance, and robust SEO foundations—all while visually reflecting the brand’s refined luxury ethos. The site also had to provide a digital infrastructure capable of supporting the group’s ambitious global expansion plans.
The Brief
Giant Leap Digital was tasked with designing and launching a next-generation website that would not only reduce reliance on outdated technology but also act as a long-term enabler of digital transformation. The project called for a highly scalable solution, one that could integrate seamlessly with booking engines, support multiple languages, and present a cohesive brand identity across diverse markets.

The Process
The project encompassed four websites in total: a central global brand site and three standalone hotel websites, each localised into five languages. This amounted to more than 1,000 unique pages, requiring consistent design, technical accuracy, and optimised performance. To achieve this, we overhauled the entire site architecture to streamline navigation and improve content discoverability. Booking engine integration was strengthened to ensure a frictionless reservation experience, while vendor connections were secured to support both hotel operations and guest services.
To provide deeper insights into user journeys and conversion points, we implemented advanced tracking solutions across the platform. At the same time, we rebuilt the SEO foundations from the ground up, enabling Almanac to gain greater visibility in competitive international markets. Accessibility and usability improvements were also prioritised, ensuring the site aligned with global standards and delivered an inclusive yet elegant experience for all guests.
Impact
Delivered within twelve months and on budget, the new platform immediately demonstrated measurable impact. Keyword rankings improved, organic traffic increased, and the brand’s visual identity became stronger and more consistent across regions. More importantly, the website now provides Almanac with a scalable, future-ready foundation—supporting global expansion, enabling ongoing digital innovation, and elevating the guest experience to match the brand’s commitment to luxury and excellence.
